“FMDV warning” | one more virus. FMDV this time, AKA foot-and-mouth disease that threatens cattle in the UK and especially Surrey. Four cases from August to now at the Highlands – Scotland. Scientists are trying to find out how the disease has spread, what is its incubation period and diagnose it in time in sheep. FMD is a highly transmittable virus that rarely affects humans but affects their food… how many more threats? Is this a much more general warning from mother earth?
