“make a marine park or make money?” | location: Australia, coral sea. Environmental groups describe the Coral Sea as a stunning blue water highway full of oceanic predators. Hammerhead and white-tipped sharks (increasingly rare in our oceans today) as well as manta rays are some of its inhabitants. This sea should be immediately protected or it will most probably be destroyed by illegal fishermen. Shark fin is sold in extremely high prices in the asian market. Aim: to make the coral sea, the world’s largest marine park. Emergency: to enforce this kind of nature’s protection worldwide.
